Public Sector and Private Sector Companies, who have more than a paid up capital of Rs. 5 crores, assign a Company Secretary on their senior level (normally on their managerial position or above). It is not related to any ordinary secretary of company holding the position of the personal secretary of their employer. A Company Secretary is responsible for the efficient administration of a company. Company Secretaries provide proper financial advice to Board of Directors and managers of companies. According to Indian Companies Act, 1956, an individual with a CS qualification gets appointed in the company and performs their ministerial/managerial and administrative duties, which comes under the Company Act.

Foundation Programme: Rs. 3600 (Additional fee of Rs. 500 will be charged, if subscribe for journal)
1. The amount of fee has charged by half rate for SC/ST candidates. (50% of fees payable).
2. No fee concession for OBC students.
3. Physically handicapped candidates have to pay only registration fees, which is Rs. 1200 for foundation candidates..

General examination guidelines
Take Proper Rest
Candidates should take proper rest before their exam. They should take at least 7-8 hours of sleep, instead of small naps. If they don’t take this, they will suffer from fatigue and feel sleepy during the exam time. Therefore, proper sleep is required.
Bring all exam materials
Before leaving home for examination, candidates should check and bring all the relevant exam materials, i.e Admit card, Geometry materials, Paper board, Calculator, etc. After arriving at examination centre, candidate may regret their ignorance, which could eventually end up as a spoiler for their crucial exam.
Candidates should arrive early at their examination centre. They should arrive half an hour before the starting time as it may take some time for them to find their examination room/hall and get done with the basic checking at the entrance.
Check seats/desk before exam
After arriving at examination room, candidates must check their designated seat and if they find any paper or chits on or inside the desk/seat, they should immediately submit it to their supervising examiner.
Prohibited Items during exam
Cell phones, ear phones, CD players, Pagers, Electronic Dictionaries, and any other electronic devices, except calculator or watch, are prohibited in examinations. Candidates can use their electronic equipments after leaving from their examination center but not during the course of the exam.
